Paul is a graduate of Ithaca College and the University of Utah, where he received a Master of Fine Arts in writing and directing musical theatre. For several years, Paul was artistic director for the New Opera Group in NYC. He coached the rehearsals and conducted performances for 12 operas, including one American and three New York premieres. Paul is the artistic director of Cantus, a 12-member vocal group in NYC, and is the Minister of Music at the Madison Avenue Baptist Church in NYC. He is the musical director/arranger for the current cabaret hits "3 Tenors in Search of an Act", Richard Skippers "Carol Channing in Concert" and Edd Clark's "Romantic Notions"
He is currently affiliated with the Theater Department at Marymount Manhattan College, and AMDA (The American Musical and Dramatic Academy). With an excellent knowledge of the repetoire, he moves freely between the opera and musical theater genres.
